Dnestrovsk celebrated the 60th anniversary. Festive entertainment events were held in the city on weekends. Residents of Dnestrovsk who make life in the city better were honored in the "Energetik" Palace of Culture on May 24, on the very day of the city. Teachers, educators and cultural workers received certificates of honor, letters of thanks, medals for excellence in labor, and the Order of Glory. Citizens of the city were congratulated by the Deputy of the Supreme Council for "Vostochny" constituency No. 33 Viktor Guzun, the Head of the capital state administration Oleg Dovgopol, the chairman of the Tiraspol city council Vadim Doni, the Head of the State Administration of Dnestrovsk Sergey Karyuk, the Chairman of the Dnestrovsk city council of people's deputies Lyubov Zolotnikova and the general director of the Moldavian state district power station.
Festive and solemn atmosphere reigned in the hall. The ceremony was opened by the Dniester waltz. It was performed by pupils of the Energetik Palace of Culture. The guests of honor of the event addressed their congratulations to the residents of the city.

The deputy of the Supreme Council in the electoral district №33 "Vostochny" Viktor Guzun was born and raised in Dnestrovsk, so he recalls with special trepidation how the city developed.
The deputy added that the value of any city is its inhabitants. The main asset of Dnestrovsk is the people who live, work in it, put their labor, a piece of their soul into the city to develop and become better every day.

Representatives of state authorities presented more than 100 state awards. Svetlana Manilenko is a physics teacher at the Dnestrovsk school No.2. She has been teaching this complex science for more than 35 years and telling her students that physics is not only tasks, but also experiments, understanding the world that surrounds us. She was presented with a certificate of honor from the President of the PMR on the jubilee day.
Svetlana Manilenko added: the secret of teaching is to win over the child. The child must believe that they want to teach and pass on knowledge to him. You need to cooperate with children. If a student next to you makes some small discovery, then later he remembers better, he becomes interested and there are results.
