For the convenience of villagers

It will be easier for residents of villages and towns to process documents. The Supreme Council adopted the President's law-in-draft in the second final reading. The changes give villagers the right to contact the village administration to apply for, receive or replace a Pridnestrovian passport, as well as to register at the place of residence or place of stay or to be removed from the register. Villagers had to go to the city with documents until now: to the passport department and to the migration registration authority. Residents of villages and towns will be able to contact the local administration from January 1.

Changes have been made to the laws "On local authorities, local self-government and state administration in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" and "On migration registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". The adopted legislations have been sent to the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for signature.
