Deputy Grigory Dyachenko introduced the legislative initiative on amending the law "On the state border of PMR" for consideration by his deputies colleagues. He proposed to expand the category of citizens entitled to cross the border with Moldova at the checkpoint "Dubossary - Dorotskoe". Currently, citizens who have a residence permit in border villages can freely cross the border with Moldova at this checkpoint. The author suggested making the movement through them possible for all citizens of Pridnestrovie.

During the discussion of the law-in-draft, the representative of the profile ministry noted the need to take into account the special status of the territories that would be affected by the proposed legal norm. They enter the security zone, where a special mode of movement operates. Therefore, the status of the checkpoints cannot be changed, but it is possible to regulate the order of their crossing.
