The legislation in force in Pridnestrovie has determined that a young person is considered to be 30 years old, in Russia - up to 35. Participants in the rally “Leader-2019” spoke about the need to increase the age of young people. Referring to the Russian experience, youth activists came out with a corresponding proposal to President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The President agreed with the opinion of young people and instructed to draft a law. Its authors were the deputies Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov, Ruslan Gareev, Pavel Shinkaryuk. The document proposes, in the framework of the harmonization of our legislation with the Russian, to establish that the youth will be considered a socio-demographic group of citizens aged from 14 to 35 years. In this case, the age of at least one spouse in a young family is also proposed to increase to 35 years.
Deputies of the Supreme Council adjusted the law “On Information, Information Technologies and Protection of Information”. The essence of the amendments is to increase the level of implementation of executive documents, when a court decision hinders the fulfillment of the requirement to remove information on the global Internet that defames the honor, dignity or business reputation of a citizen (legal entity). The State Service of Judicial Enforcement will now be connected to this. Judicial executors will be connected to the process when the information recognized by judicial authorities as defaming the honor and dignity of a citizen is not promptly removed from the Internet.
Another important law-in-draft, adopted by parliamentarians concerns the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development. We are talking about a ban on the dissemination of this kind of information and its immediate (now we are talking about the period within a day) removal from the Internet. In this regard, during the plenary session, the deputies recalled the situation with the Internet community "Blue Whale", when information, inclining to suicide, was transmitted along the chain, involving more and more teenagers.
The corresponding law-in-draft was adopted in the first reading.
