The multinational unity

Multinationality of Pridnestrovie is fixed in the Constitution. Traditionally, talking about three nations, which became official languages ​​of the Republic. Moldovans, Ukrainians and Russian account for 91% of the population. Another 9% - are representatives of more than three dozen ethnic groups living in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic: Gagauz, Bulgarians, Belarusians, Armenians, Jews, Poles, Roma, Germans, Azerbaijanis, Tatars, Georgians, Ossetians, Syrians, Uzbeks ... representatives of the majority of the diaspora gathered today, to remind of the power of unity and the need for consolidation of the society. The first conference of national diasporas of Pridnestrovie collected hundreds of residents of the Republic, who arrived in the capital from different cities and regions. The forum participants spoke about the importance of keeping of traditions, culture, language.

Replacing each other at the microphone, the representatives of various diasporas collected verbal bouquet wishes and hopes. There was on the stage a kaleidoscope of rooms (music, songs and dances of the peoples living in the Pridnestrovian land). Toward the end of the event prepared by ethnic performances turn into a multinational improvisation.

The official result of the first Republican National Forum was the adoption of a joint decision on the establishment of "The National Union of Diasporas of Pridnestrovie" public organization. It is assumed that its leader will be elected every six months among the leaders of the national republics communities.
