The Dialogues in the Russian Parliament

The situation around Pridnestrovie was discussed in the course of the dialogue between parliamentarians, in the context of Ukrainian domestic crisis and the signing of the association agreement between the EU and Moldova.

Ivan Melnikov and Mikhail Burla emphasized the importance of maintaining political dialogue, further development of humanitarian cooperation and expansion of economic relations between Russia and Pridnestrovie, based on its production capacity, including in the course of regional cooperation.

The parties agreed on the further development of inter-parliamentary relations between the State Duma and the Parliament of Pridnestrovie, as well as providing expert advice to promote the Pridnestrovian legislature in the harmonization of legislation with the Russian.

The conversation was attended by Vladimir Nikitin the first deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, and Peter Pasat Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of PMR on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, Chairman of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction.

In the course of the visit to the Russian capital there was a series of meetings of deputies of the Supreme Council to Russian colleagues legislators: Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Zheleznyak, chairman of the Committee on Education Vyacheslav Nikonov, first deputy chairman of the Committee on Regional Policy and the North and the Far East Roman Khudyakov, chairman of the Committee on property Sergei Gavrilov, member of the Committee on Natural Resources, Environment and Ecology Oleg Lebedev.
