Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov took part in a meeting with representatives of industrial enterprises of the republic. It took place at the site of the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie. They talked about the situation in the economy that under the influence of foreign economic and foreign policy factors, has undergone significant changes in 2022. The decline in production, problems with logistics and delivery, the fulfillment of previously signed contracts – this is what many Pridnestrovian enterprises had to face in the past year. The state provides support in these difficult times. Thus the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic retained a tax benefit for enterprises in the shoe and clothing industry operating on raw materials to be supplied for 2023 as in 2022 in the form of a reduction factor of 1.05. This will help maintain stability in the activities of organizations in the clothing and footwear industries of the light industry, maintain employment of employees and tax revenues to the budget. According to the results of the first half of 2022, these enterprises began to grow, but so far it has not reached pre-pandemic levels. So, 11 organizations out of 13 analyzed organizations engaged in the processing of tolling raw materials in the light industry had a positive financial result, for example.
The fight against administrative barriers was discussed in the course of the meeting. Speaker Alexander Korshunov recalled that in 2017 a register of administrative barriers was drawn up in the republic and some of them were then eliminated with the help of the Government. The Chairman of the Supreme Council invited representatives of the industrial sector to repeat this work and to revise the system of interaction between public services and the real sector of the economy as a whole.
Speaker Alexander Korshunov invited representatives of the real sector of the economy, in addition to the list of administrative barriers that can be eliminated in 2023, to put forward their proposals for attracting personnel to the industrial sector of Pridnestrovie in their opinion. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR added that the state and deputies are ready to consider and work out each of the submitted proposals.
