The Dialogue of Parliamentarians

A meeting of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of PMR Mikhail Burla with the head of the Parliament RM Andrian Candu was held May 18. During the dialogue, the sides discussed socio-economic issues affecting the interests of citizens living on both banks of the Dniester.

Questions regarding such spheres as health and education were the subject of the discussion of parliamentarians. They talked about the potential for the implementation of joint infrastructure projects in the sphere of communications, railway electrification, and provision of emergency medical care.

A special topic of the discussion was devoted to the issues of economic cooperation. In particular, they talked about the problems of licensing, certification, and issues related to the simplification of the procedures. Heads of parliaments also discussed topical aspects relating to the conduct of foreign trade from January 1, 2016.

During the meeting, the speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament told his Moldovan colleague on how the legal framework of our republic is developed and improved, the most focused on the legislation of the Russian Federation.
