The Dialogue of the Colleagues

Meeting of the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba with the First Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kaluga Region Alexander Efremov was held in the Supreme Council. The interparliamentary dialogue was also attended by the chairman of the Bendery City Council Yuri Kara and the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Efimy Koval. Alexander Efremov is an honored guest of the Pridnestrovian International Economic Forum.

The main topics of the discussion at the parliamentary platform were the issues of attracting investments in the economy of the republic, the development of agro-industrial complex, the creation of joint Russian- Pridnestrovian enterprises, and the exchange of experience. In recent years, the Kaluga region has become a leader in Russia in attracting investment. The world's leading companies, including automobile concerns, have placed their production on its territory. Of course, the Kaluga experience in this respect is useful for Pridnestrovie.

Participants in the dialogue were unanimous in the opinion that one of the promising areas of interaction between PMR and the Kaluga region is the agrarian sector, which has great potential and opportunities.

In turn, the Russian guest, who thanked for the invitation to participate in the Pridnestrovian International Economic Forum, expressed his readiness to provide the producers with the maximum support, in particular, sharing their experience with them, teaching them.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of the legislative bodies of Pridnestrovie and the Kaluga region exchanged souvenirs. Alexander Efremov presented Alexander Shcherba with the book "The History of the Kaluga Region".
