The Activity of Municipal Unitary Enterprise is under control

The head of the republic's legislature Alexander Shcherba held a meeting with the chairmen of the city and district councils of people's deputies. During the meeting "without ties" the deputies discussed organizational issues related to the implementation of amendments to the law "On Local Government, Local Government and State Administration in Pridnestrovie", adopted May this year. They must enter into force June 18. Until that time it is necessary to formulate and approve staffing schedules of village (settlement) councils, and to solve a number of related issues. In particular, they concern the rates of duty officers and secretaries of village councils. They also talked about the formation of staff schedules for the city councils.

In addition, the head of the parliamentary committee for state regional policy, Oleg Vasilaty, presented to the discussion of the chairmen of local councils the vision of his colleagues on issues related to the functioning of municipal unitary enterprises.

In the opinion of the head of the profile committee, the principal point is the provision that the head of the state administration should be responsible for the results of the activity of a subordinated Municipal Unitary Enterprise. Establishment of enterprises, their statutes, reporting should be at the level of representative bodies, operational management is the prerogative of the executive bodies.

It was decided that consultations on this important topic will be continued. The worked out and coordinated proposals will be formed in the form of amendments to the law "On unitary enterprises".
