The Deputy Inquiries

Parliamentarians sent inquiry of the deputy Alexander Korshunov to the Chairman of the State Customs Committee. The subject of the checks should be the procedure for the payment of all customs duties by economic entities importing into the territory of the Republic frozen pork and poultry. The Parliamentarian is interested in information on the import of frozen pork and frozen poultry (chicken) for the period from 10/12/2014 until 01/03/2016, as well as copies of the documents on the import of these products into Pridnestrovie from 10.12.2014 till 01.04.2015 at as raw material for processing in its manufacturing process.

Another inquiry concerns the functioning of state media in the republic. Deputy corps returns to this question not the first time. In early February, lawmakers appealed to the head of state for the agreement on consolidation of the Supreme Council of the status of the co-founder of "The first Pridnestrovian" television, radio "Radio 1" and "Radio Pridnestrovie", news agency "News of Pridnestrovie" and "Pridnestrovie News", "Pridnestrovie" newspaper "Adeverul Nistryan" and "Gomin". Installed in the corresponding resolution date February 15 for a long time had passed, but the response from the President had not been received. The Parliament Speaker Vadim Krasnoselsky told about it a week ago exactly. He once again reminded of how in 2008, the Supreme Council was included in the list of founders of state mass media, and in 2012 it was crossed out from it. Despite the existing legal prohibition on monopolization of the media and their subordination to one authority, the sole founder is now the President. There are questions to PGTRK, bringing together public television and radio.

MPs receiving no answers resorted to such a tool, as a parliamentary inquiry. The author was Igora Buga. He suggested appealing the PMR Prosecutor with an inquiry to give a legal assessment of the legality of the reorganization and the establishment of a sole state-run media of the President's decree. In addition, it raised the question of the legality of the existing remuneration mechanism of payment to employees of “PGTRK”.
