Deputies made amendments and additions to the law on budget-2023

23.03.2023

The deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic considered in the course of the plenary session more than 100 amendments to the law on the budget for the current year as part of the approval of the balances of the republican and local budgets formed as of the 1st of January, 2023.

First of all, reserves were formed in the amount of 113 million rubles. This is a kind of financial "safety cushion" for the state. It is necessary for the state to fulfill its social obligations in any situation: to pay salaries, pensions and benefits on time and on time.

The deputies voted to increase the revenues and expenditures of the republican and local budgets today. Thus, additional subsidies were allocated from the balance to state administrations for urgent work within the framework of the expenses of the Road Fund, including the elimination of emergency sections on the Tiraspol-Kamenka road (142-143 km), as well as for parking for heavy vehicles at the "Bendery" customs checkpoint and repair of roads in the direction of Moldova.

As for the Capital Investment Fund, an additional 24.6 million rubles will be allocated for his articles. First of all, this will be funding for additional strategic facilities. We are talking about the facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Ministry of State Security of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the State Customs Committee of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Additional funds, already outside the Capital Investment Fund, will be received by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Another 8 million rubles will be spent on the purchase of vehicles for firefighters within the framework of the state target program, including the transport that allows you to extinguish fires in high-rise buildings. There is no such technology in the republic now. The Ministry of Justice will purchase generators for penitentiary institutions. Almost 2 million rubles will be allocated to the department for these purposes.

The deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic voted in the second final reading for amendments and additions to the law on the republican budget for 2023. The document will be sent to the President for signature.
