Deputies of the Supreme Council met with inhabitants of Dubossary

Peter Pasat, leader of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction, told voters on the results of the recent "breakthrough" of the Pridnestrovian parliamentary delegation visit to Moscow, which, according to deputies, was, in fact, Russia's recognition of the results of the November elections to representative bodies. The head of the faction also outlined the main directions of the current activities of the Supreme Council. Their main goal – is to stabilize the economic situation, the termination of the outflow of able-bodied population from the republic.

According to the deputy Oleg Vasilaty, an important task of the Parliament now - is "to break all schemes by which money does not reach the budget".

Oleg Vasilaty said that another strategic objective of the Supreme Council is the development and adoption of the program of development of the economy of Pridnestrovie. It is necessary, inter alia, for effective cooperation with the Russian Federation. It is planned that the project in the fall this program will be submitted for public discussion.

Parliamentarian Sergey Cheban mentioned issues related to social protection and health care. Headed by him parliamentary committee proposes to improve the mechanism of financing of medicine and the distribution of funds allocated to the sector. It is proposed, in particular, to enshrine a minimum set of free medical services for the citizens, to balance spending on high-tech equipment and primary care medicine at the legislative level.

Residents Dubossary in the course of the dialogue asked deputies questions related to the issues of health care, the environment, and pensions. They were seriously concerned about reduction of Russian people of pensions due to the devaluation of the Russian ruble. Parliamentarians said that the problem is under control of authorities. In the interests of Pridnestrovians, switched to Russian pensions (according to unofficial data, there are about 16 thousand), a legislative solution was prepared. It is assumed that the exchange rate at a level to receive Russian pensions was profitable state "fix" them, as before.

Youth employment  is an acute problems in Dubossary. Residents of the town say that the basically just shopping and public sector institutions work here, without any vacancies. It is hard for young specialists to find job. In addition, residents of Dubossary made proposals to limit the payment of pensions to working pensioners or even prohibit the employment of persons of retirement age, thus freeing jobs for young people. Parliamentarians said that the treatment of this topic massively come to the Supreme Council, however, the proposed measures will not solve the main problem of the state.

Deputies responded to dozens of questions, on some specific issues, it was decided to send inquiries to the competent authorities.
