The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky opened the working week with a traditional video conference with heads of state authorities and administration. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov and heads of parliamentary Committees and Commissions.
According to the website of the PMR President, the heads of state administrations in the course of video conference reported on the state of affairs at the local level, implementation of development programs and presidential instructions, including those given following the results of the President's inspection visits to the districts. Head of Kamenka Sergey Sokirka, for example, reported that the heating problem had been solved at school No. 2, where on the instructions of Vadim Krasnoselsky heating specialists from Tiraspol came, and the classrooms had a comfortable temperature of up to 20 degrees, which even slightly exceeds the established standard. The reason for the lack of heat was poor water circulation due to poorly executed piping coldproof, according to the Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik.
The heads reported that many boiler houses had shut down early on Sunday morning due to a power surge. Their work was resumed within two or three hours, and most consumers did not notice what had happened. The head of the capital's state administration Oleg Dovgopol proposed considering the issue of providing all or at least nodal boiler houses with generators in case of emergency shutdowns. They mentioned the generators already purchased for social institutions on the President’s instructions. Vadim Krasnoselsky set the task of conducting a commission check of their readiness for operation and the condition of the places where this equipment is located. The PMR President raised the issue of urban greening, recalling the effect of the law requiring two trees to be planted instead of one cut down. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the inadmissibility of rooting tall tree seedlings under power lines. Raised plantings must be trimmed to ensure safety so that the branches do not touch the power line, the President emphasized. He asked about the landscaping work being carried out in towns and districts. Oleg Dovgopol said that 470 linden and 150 pine seedlings will be delivered to the capital from the Kamenka nursery today. Bendery will be decorated with fifty plane trees, as well as chestnuts, albizias, and pines. 2520 bushes mostly pink and lavender were planted last weekend in Slobodzeya district as part of a clean-up day. The head of Grigoriopol reported on the planting of 170 trees.
They reported in the course of the meeting on the next recipients of their own housing – this is a state program for providing apartments to orphans. They touched on the topic of building apartment buildings under the presidential affordable housing program. The next cooperative house is being built in the capital, the cost of a square meter in which is 400 conventional units. Oleg Dovgopol reported that citizens still have the opportunity to join the housing cooperative.
School luncheon was discussed. The problem of a shortage of personnel for school kitchens remains relevant. Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about the incoming appeals from citizens indicating that some educational institutions deny children paid meals, citing the fact that cooks cannot cope with the workload and hot lunches are prepared only for beneficiaries and visitors to extended-day groups. The President considers this approach unacceptable. The opportunity to have lunch at school should be provided to every child, the President aimed. Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about school canteens, the supply of products to which can be undertaken by commercial organizations. They touched on the topic of equipping food units. They should be equipped with modern technical means, for example, vegetable peelers and cutting units, which will facilitate the work of kitchen workers and speed up the cooking process, they said at the meeting.
They announced the beginning of preparations for the New Year holidays. Specialized services are developing cultural and entertainment programs. They have already started installing city Christmas trees in Bendery and Dubossary. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded that the settlements should be decorated for the New Year and Christmas in early December.
The work schedule for the week was discussed at the meeting. The President in addition to various office meetings plans to continue his inspection tour of the cities and districts of the republic.
