The PMR Supreme Council Deputies took part in the Victory Day celebration in towns and regions of Pridnestrovie

Deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic take part in the celebration of Victory Day in towns and regions of Pridnestrovie.

Boris German, Deputy from constituency number 11 "Central" together with the leadership of the city in Dubossary laid flowers at the city's monuments to fallen soldiers. The city hosted a rally to memorable places in honor of the Victory Day. The memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War was also honored on the Mound of Glory. Flowers were laid at the foot of the pedestal on which the T-34 tank is installed, the crew of which died in the battles to liberate the area from the German-Romanian occupiers, as well as at the resting places of war heroes. The flower-laying ceremony was held at memorials in the Lunga and Korzhevo microdistricts.

A monument to three soldiers was opened in the center of Dnestrovsk: Soviet soldier, Afghan and Pridnestrovian defender. The event was attended by Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in constituency No. 33 "Vostochny" Viktor Guzun. According to the media, the monument was manually carved by local sculptures made of solid Kosautian stone. Four more commemorative plates will soon appear on the Memorial. The work on the monument has not yet been completed. It is planned to create a whole memorial complex at this place that will become the central place in the city for holding commemorative events, the administration of Dnestrovsk notes.

Hundreds of citizens came to the mass graves in Bendery today. The concert lorry drove around the city of Bendery and congratulated the veterans after the laying ceremony. The event was attended by the deputy of the constituency number 6 Sergey Pisarenko. Oleg Petrik, Deputy of the Pridnestrovian Supreme Council for constituency No. 3 Borisovsky, congratulated voters on Victory Day on social networks.

Flowers were laid in Grigoriopol at the Memorial Complex "Grieving Mother" at the mass grave of soldiers who died in 1944 during the liberation of the Grigoriopol region from the German-Romanian occupiers and at the graves of the defenders of Pridnestrovie. The Head of State Administration Oleg Gabuzha and Chairman of the Council of People's Deputies Andrei Kovtun led the column of Victory heirs. Further, a festive program has been prepared for the townspeople.

All day long lorries run around the city in Tiraspol, from which soloists of orchestras and vocal groups give concerts for veterans. Tiraspol residents come to the Memorial of Glory to lay flowers, to honor the memory of grandfathers and great-grandfathers who passed the roads of the war.
