It was about getting Pridnestrovian enterprises easier access to Russian markets. This will help Pridnestrovie additional load capacity, generating employment and partially close the budget deficit due to additional tax deductions.

Chairman of Supreme Council PMR Committee on entrepreneurship, Victor Guzun noted that Pridnestrovian enterprises today have difficulty exporting their products to the Russian Federation due to the restrictions imposed by Russia against Moldova.

According to him, Pridnestrovie seeks to develop an effective mechanism that would provide "an opportunity to overcome these barriers, the possibility of entering free to the Russian market, to the restrictions that are taken today against perhaps the Republic of Moldova were not applied to Pridnestrovie and our companies".

In particular, according to the Pridnestrovian parliamentarian, Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is interested in the fact that the company participated in the Russian public contracts in public procurement - including supplies its products within the national defense order.
