The PMR Supreme Council Deputies: the state will do everything to support citizens

Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke in the course of Supreme Council emergency meeting about the priority areas of work of officials in the event of a cessation of supplies of natural gas to Pridnestrovie.

Particular attention will be paid to healthcare institutions. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that about 60 emergency operations are performed in Pridnestrovie per day. The bed fund is almost 2000 citizens. There are about 14 hospitals in the republic, there are clinics and feldsher-obstetric stations. These facilities must be provided with heat. The relevant instructions were given to the relevant ministries in the course of the Security Council meeting last week. The PMR President noted that the uncertainty regarding gas supplies to Pridnestrovie will persist until the evening of December 31.

The decision to introduce a state of emergency in Pridnestrovie was unanimously supported by the deputies, who approved the corresponding Decree of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The state of emergency is in effect in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic from December 11 to January 10. If necessary, it will be extended.
