Deputies approved the report on the work in 2022 of the state program for the development of tourism in the PMR

The republic has been implementing since 2019 a state target program aimed at supporting and developing tourism in Pridnestrovie. Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Natalya Sitkina told the deputies of the Supreme Council about the implementation of the state program last year.

One of the events of the state program last year was the promotion and active advertising campaign of the Pridnestrovian tourist product on the Internet and in print media.

The work on the website "Visit Pridnestrovie" continued. Contextual advertising of the site was launched in Google search engines (regions of Pridnestrovie, Moldova, Germany, Italy, USA, Great Britain, Austria, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Israel) and Yandex (regions of Pridnestrovie and Moldova). According to the report, the Visit Pridnestrovie website was viewed more than 450000 times last year.

One of the directions of the state program was the development of cycling tourism in the republic.

100 signs of the main tourist attractions and routes to them were installed in the cities and regions of the republic within the framework of the state program. The installation of information stands at tourist sites continued. Such stands are translated into a foreign language and equipped with QR codes, which provide quick access to information about the attraction. 46 small information stands and one large stand were installed in Pridnestrovie last year totally.

923 thousand rubles in total were allocated from the republican budget for all activities of the state program last year, which amounted to 95% of the originally planned amount.

The report on the implementation in 2022 of the state target program "Support and development of tourism in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2019-2026" was unanimously approved by the deputies of the Supreme Council, emphasizing the notable successes in the development of the tourism industry in the republic.
