The deputies voted to send the appeal from the PMR Supreme Council to the President of Russia today in the course of the plenary session. The parliamentarians consider that the intervention of Vladimir Putin in the situation related to the delivery of the Sputnik V vaccine to Pridnestrovie will give a certain impetus to an early resolution of the problem.
The decision to allocate a batch of Russian vaccine as humanitarian aid was made by the Russian side back in December 2020. However, the delivery of the Russian vaccine by air has not yet been carried out due to artificial administrative and political barriers from the Republic of Moldova, despite the registration of Sputnik V in the Agency for Medicines of the Republic of Moldova, according to the appeal of the Supreme Council.
