Deputies took part in the celebration of the City Day of Dubossary

Dubossary celebrated City Day today. The events began with the laying of flowers at the Memorial of Military Glory. 81 soldiers of the Soviet Army, who died during the liberation of the city from the German-Romanian occupiers, and 34 defenders of Pridnestrovie, were buried at the memorable place, the website of the local state administration reports.

The flower-laying ceremony was attended by deputies of the Supreme Council from Dubossary and Dubossary region Boris German and Oleg Bayev, the leadership of the city and the region, deputies of the Council of People's Deputies, labor collectives of enterprises and organizations.

The main celebrations were held in the Energetikov Park that was opened after the next stage of reconstruction. Artists of the Pridnestrovian State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Natalia Aronetskaya performed on the renovated stage of the summer amphitheater.

Many residents of Dubossary received state awards on the Day of the City. Young residents of the city were presented with passports in a festive atmosphere.

Festive courtyards unfolded in the center of Dubossary. The deputies of the Supreme Council appreciated the craftsmanship of craftsmen and the products of local enterprises, talked with residents.
