Deputies congratulated Moldavian Metallurgical Plant workers

Pridnestrovian metallurgists annually celebrate their professional holiday on the third Sunday of July. Employees of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant received congratulations from the leadership of Rybnitsa, the Supreme Council and the Ministry of Economic Development.

Distinguished workers were awarded state awards. Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva and deputies of the Supreme Council representing the interests of Rybnitsa residents Yakov Galak, Vadim Kravchuk, Vasily Kunitsky and Andrey Safonov congratulated metallurgists on behalf of the Supreme Council. A greeting address was presented on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council.

The Moldavian Metallurgical Plant is one of three plants that were built in the USSR in the mid-1980s. Construction in Rybnitsa began in August 1981, and in October 1984 the first steel was received.

It was noted at the meeting that Moldavian Metallurgical Plant is updating and modernizing equipment despite the difficulties at the moment.

The winners of the competitions "Best Workshop" and "Young Leader" were awarded on the festive day. In addition, diplomas were awarded to graduates of the correspondence group of dual training in the specialty "Metal Forming" and the full-time group in the specialty "Operator of machine tools with program control."
