Deputies of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk asked questions of interest to the PMR President

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky traditionally holds meetings with deputies of local councils to know about the exciting problems in cities and regions. The meeting took place today in the City Council of Tiraspol. The deputies of the Supreme Council, representing the interests of the inhabitants of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk, took part in the dialogue.

The topic of overhaul of dormitories in the Tekstilshchiki microdistrict of the capital was raised by Vadim Levitsky, Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency number 31 Krasnodonsky, together with Yevgeny Shumeiko, Deputy of the City Council.

A targeted program of republican or city significance is needed to resolve the issue, they said in the course of the meeting. The solution will be worked out jointly with government agencies and local authorities. There was an opinion that the tenants should maintain the condition of the dormitories in proper condition after the repair at the state expense.

Representatives of the Public Council of Tiraspol took part in the meeting. They raised the topic of the work of the outreach consular service of the Russian Embassy in Tiraspol. Many people cannot renew Russian passports for a long time. As the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic noted, the problem was raised not only by him, but also by deputies of the Supreme Council, including during working meetings in Moscow. The staff of the consulate has been increased, but the problem with the queue for a replacement passport has not yet been resolved. Vadim Krasnoselsky assured the public that he would raise this issue again in the course of the meeting with Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn, who will visit the republic next week.

The deputies discussed with the President the development of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk. They talked about the implementation of the program of the Capital Investment Fund.

The deputies of the local council were interested in whether it is planned to improve the coastal zone of the Dniester Estuary. This place in the summer gathers a large number of tourists from all over the country. As the Head of state administration Oleg Dovgopol noted, the improvement of the infrastructure of Dnestrovsk began from the central part of the city.

The President spoke in general about the development of tourism in Pridnestrovie. 2023 has been declared the Year of Agro-Industrial Complex, Rural Areas and Rural Tourism. A number of events are planned. Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee Viktor Guzun commented on proposal of Vadim Krasnoselsky to provide preferential loans for the development of rural tourism.

The meeting participants spoke about the foreign policy situation, the work of republican dentistry, the optimization of the education sector, as well as the use of the dual education system for training workers. 30 enterprises and 12 educational institutions across the republic participate in the dual education program. This system needs to be further developed, the President considers.

According to the deputies of the Supreme Council, meetings with the PMR President provide an opportunity to ask questions, get an opinion on solving many problems, and coordinate joint efforts to improve the life of cities and regions.
