Deputies of the Youth Parliament joined the greening campaign in Tiraspol

11.11.2021

The alley along the Republican hospital for veterans of the Great Patriotic War will become shady. Many old trees were removed when the carriageway was widened and the road was repaired last year in this part of Yunosti Street. Young maples were planted instead of them along the footpath today by the deputies of the Youth Parliament. Specialists of "Spetszelenstroy" prepared them for planting: the root of each tree is packed in a special biodegradable net, which will become fertilizer for the seedling.

Activists, members of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament Andrei Chorba, Dmitry Prokhorenko, Igor Kirichenko, Dmitry Golovash supported the action announced by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. 300 seedlings will be planted on 6 streets this fall in Tiraspol. The day before, 55 linden trees were planted at the end of Yunosti Street; young parliamentarians have planted 12 more maples today. New deciduous trees will soon appear in Krasnodonskaya and Shevchenko streets.

As one of the future ideas, the deputies of the Youth Parliament of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are considering the issue of creating an Alley of Youth in Tiraspol. Young parliamentarians will still discuss this issue in committees and in the course of the plenary sessions.
