There were identified only three issues included to the agenda of the meeting of the faction. Two of them concerned the amnesty, which is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 30th anniversary of the PMR establishment. The draft resolution was prepared by a working group, which included deputies of the parliamentary committee on legislation, representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Justice and the PMR Supreme Court. The document has already been adopted in the first reading. Today it will be adopted in the second, final reading in the course of the plenary. Amnesty will be applied for those, who embarked on the path of correction, have positive characteristics. First of all, this will affect convicted combatants, disabled people of groups I and II, pregnant women, large families, people of retirement age and those over 70 years old. It is proposed to amnesty evading military service. Deputies of the Renovation faction agreed with all the points of the resolution.
Another issue on the agenda of the meeting of the faction is the law-in-draft on amendments to the republican budget for 2020. The position of the Committee on Economic Policy was presented by Oleg Vasilaty. According to him, the changes relate to financing “other” expenses of the republican budget (it is proposed to reduce their financing from 23% of incoming budget revenues to 10%) and transferring financing of contracts of research laboratories for state orders from the category of other articles back to the category of socially protected. Deputies of the faction supported these amendments.
