The Day of Rescuers

Dear rescuers and veterans of emergency services!

I congratulate you on your professional holiday on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

Rescuers are courageous people, self-possessed and ready for self-sacrifice. Your work is important, dangerous, noble and honorable. You have the unique ability to quickly make the right decisions in the most difficult situations. Wherever you are: on the front line, in the fight against natural and man-made disasters, you are the first to provide assistance to people in trouble.

I would especially like to note the veterans of rescuers who pass on their invaluable experience to the younger generation.

I am sure that the employees of the rescue services of our republic will continue to fulfill their official duty with honor, to cope with responsible and complex tasks. Your professionalism, high qualifications, experience, solid discipline and the ability to find a way out of the most difficult, sometimes extreme situations - these are the qualities that you fully possess.

Thank you for your work, for your courage, for your honest service! I wish you health, family comfort and warmth, a long and happy life and financial well-being, and that you always return to your family safe and sound.
