The Day of birth of the Republic

Celebrations in the capital traditionally began with the laying of flowers and wreaths at the monuments at the holy place for Pridnestrovians - Memorial of Glory. The ceremony was attended by the President Yevgeny Shevchuk, chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky, legislators, business and government members, representatives of the official delegations of the Russian Federation and other friendly states, soldiers, peacekeepers, citizens and guests of the city and the republic.

According to the vice-speaker of Pridnestrovian parliament Galina Antyufeeva Republic Birthday - this is a special holiday for each Pridnestrovian. "This is a celebration of freedom, joy, happiness. This day, we are going, first of all, to pay tribute and respect to those who defended the republic, gave us the right to live on this land. I wish everyone decent life, well-being, peace in Pridnestrovian families, babies! Let everyone will be protected by God! Congratulations to you, dear Pridnestrovians!"

The meeting participants took part in the ceremony of raising the National Flag of Pridnestrovie.
