The traditional exhibition-fair of light industry enterprises took place in the capital’s Catherine Park last Sunday. It was timed to coincide with the professional holiday – Light Industry Workers Day, which is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of June. The holiday guests could see new collections of shoes, clothing and knitwear presented by the leading textile, clothing and footwear enterprises of Pridnestrovie in the exhibition pavilions located along the fountains of the park.
The exhibition was visited by the Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Victor Guzun. He toured the exhibition and assessed the quality of domestically produced goods together with the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the PMR - Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Sergei Obolonik and other guests.
You could get acquainted with the new products of industry leaders – the companies Tirotex, Odema, IntercenterLux, Floare, Tigina and Softshoes, as well as products from Pridnestrovian designer-entrepreneurs. You could find everything your heart desires - from classic shoes and clothes to exclusive models in the exhibition pavilions. The fair is an excellent opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with modern trends and capabilities of domestic manufacturers and purchase the product they like at a good discount. The flagship of the republic's light industry, JSC Tirotex, has prepared a new collection of home textiles, “Charm”, for the Pridnestrovians for the holiday. There were queues at the Tirotex stand from early morning. The company is confident that the collection will become popular among Pridnestrovians and Russian and European partners.
Andrei Mezhinsky expressed gratitude to the Government and the Supreme Council for the important and necessary support provided by the state to light industry enterprises.
Special attention was paid to the best representatives of light industry this day. They were awarded state awards for their outstanding achievements and contribution to the development of the industry on their professional holiday.
Dedicated to light industry workers holiday ended with a concert at which children's creative groups from the capital performed. All participants and guests of the exhibition took away with them vivid impressions and new ideas for future projects.
