Today Pridnestrovie celebrates the 76th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The Operational Group of Russian Forces deployed several thematic locations on the territory of the garrison: an exhibition of military equipment and vintage cars, a concert and a field kitchen.
The celebration was attended by the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and representatives of government bodies. They laid flowers at the memorial in memory of the fallen soldiers, and noted that Pridnestrovians experience both grief and joy this day.
The leadership of the republic, residents and guests of Tiraspol after the flower laying were expecting a large-scale military-historical reconstruction. The main character is Ivan Kuznetsov, full holder of the Order of Glory, he became when he was 17. Ivan Kuznetsov went to the front as a 14-year-old teenager. Being wounded by a shell fragment, Ivan continued to fire with direct fire, suppressed two machine guns and destroyed two bunkers in the battle in January 1945, during a breakthrough of the enemy defense in the area of the village of Zabadrove in Poland. The boy was awarded the Order of Glory, III degree for courage and heroism in this battle. The next two - II and I degrees Kuznetsov received in the next few months, which remained until the victory.
The January battle of Vanya Kuznetsov was staged by Pridnestrovian guys 76 years later, in Tiraspol, on the territory of the OGRV. They wanted to show that the war did not spare anyone: neither children, nor women, nor the elderly.

Combat vehicles aroused the interest of children. Boys and girls lined up to sit in an anti-tank gun, climb into an armored personnel carrier and turn the steering wheel of a military vehicle.
There was a concert on the territory of the Operational Group of Russian Forces. The Victory songs were performed by the soloists of the vocal instrumental ensemble of the ministry of the interior "Dniester".
