Day of memory and glory of soldiers-internationalists

Dear internationalist soldiers and veterans of the war in Afghanistan!

I address you on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Glory of Internationalist Warriors on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

You are our pride. I want to express my gratitude with special respect for the fact that you honestly and courageously fulfilled your military and civic duty, showed truly real soldier's courage, decency, devotion to your homeland!

Your heroism, courage, resilience and solidarity are a worthy example for the younger generation.

Many of those who went through the hell of the war in Afghanistan, and in peacetime continue to give their strength for the good of the Fatherland, make a great contribution to the patriotic education of young people, being an example of courage and valor, selfless service to their Motherland. We sincerely thank you for everything you are doing today to strengthen the sovereignty and independence of Pridnestrovie.

I am sure that the memory of your feat will live forever in our hearts.
