February 8 – is the Day of Science

Dear scientists,

employees of scientific research institutes and higher education institutions of the republic!

On behalf of the Parliament of Pridnestrovie I congratulate you on your professional holiday - Day of Science!

Day of Science – is the celebration of people of intellectual labor. Development of the state, its progress in economic and social spheres, improving the welfare of citizens largely depends on you.

Pridnestrovian land gifted a lot of talented scientists to the world. We are proud of the outstanding scientists - our compatriots L.S. Berg, N.V. Sklifosovsky, N.D. Zelinsky, whose names are inscribed in golden letters in the history of science.

Today hundreds of Pridnestrovian scientists and inventors continue the work of their predecessors. Despite all the difficulties, they make a worthy contribution to the scientific world.

Relevant committee of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie paid close attention to the development of science and make every effort to solve problems that have accumulated in this sphere.

I am confident that together we will achieve the aspirations of success in the challenging task of modernizing the Pridnestrovian economy, the creation of innovative appearance and increase the investment attractiveness of the Republic.
