National Unity Day unites Russian citizens around the world

04.11.2021

Day of National Unity is celebrated in the Russian Federation today. It has been celebrated since 2005. Russia remembers the end of the Time of Troubles on the 4th of November (the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries) - the era of rebellions, the rule of impostors, Polish and Swedish interventions, the destruction of state power and the ruin of the country. The people's militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from the Polish invaders in the fall of 1612. National Unity Day marks the solidarity of the Russian people and their sincere deep love for the Fatherland.
