Members of “The Obnovlenie” Parliamentary Faction

Members of “The Obnovlenie” Parliamentary Faction traditionally discussed the most important and resonant issues on the agenda of the forthcoming plenary session. So, today the deputies will be presented the results of the deputy investigation conducted by a special committee of the Supreme Council.

Today the topic of discussion will also be prepared by a group of deputies of a package of legislative initiatives establishing that the integrity of the Supreme Council deputy applies only to those activities which are directly related to the implementation of its mandate. As it is known, the institution of parliamentary immunity exists in the legislation of almost all democracies.

Members of the parliamentary faction support the adoption of the law-in-draft "On the legal, institutional and political basis of negotiation with the Republic of Moldova". The aim of the document submitted as the legislative initiative by a group of deputies of the Supreme Council of the V convocation, is the legislative consolidation of the Framework for conducting negotiations with the Republic of Moldova, aimed at normalization of bilateral relations between Moldova and Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
