A quarter of a century on the protection of workers' interests

The history of establishment and development of the Trade Union Federation of Pridnestrovie is directly connected with the history of the republic. After its proclamation at the II Extraordinary Congress of deputies of all levels was the issue of having to exit the Pridnestrovie trade union activists from the trade unions of Moldova. Their position on the protection of workers' interests was the reason: the adoption of discriminatory laws "On Language" and "On the use of languages ​​in the territory of SSRM" impairment of rights of the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie. The decision to establish the Federation of Trade Unions of Pridnestrovie was adopted at the I Founding Congress of Trade Unions PMR October 18, 1990. Then, it was attended by 367 delegates from the trade union organizations of cities and regions. This date became the starting point of FRR establishment.

Those who were members of the organizing committee for this important for the citizens of the republic trade union forum was honored today during the grand plenum to mark the 25th anniversary of the Federation of Trade Unions. Margarita Gracheva, at the time represented the Tiraspol city committee of trade union of workers of state institutions, considers the role of trade union organizations important and responsible job.
