A delegation from the Russian Federation arrived in Tiraspol, headed by State Duma deputy Yevgeny Primakov, grandson of the Russian political and statesman Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov. Photo exhibition was organized at the Pridnestrovian State University on the occasion of the 90th birthday of the politician at the university. "Evgeni Primakov - a symbol of the search for a new fair world order" discussion was held at the university.
The Russian delegation includes Valery Morozov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Khalevinsky, Chairman of the Council of the Association of Russian Diplomats, Leading Researcher, Center for Euro-Atlantic Security MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Expert of the Russian Council on Foreign Affairs and A. M. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Support Fund Sergei Markedonov, Director of the Center for European Studies MGIMO Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nikolai Gribin, Head of the Center for Post-Soviet Studies, Head of the Policy Theory Section, Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences Eduard Soloviev.
The participants of the Primakov Readings in Tiraspol were faculty members of PSU, members of the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council, and students. Russian guests shared their memories of the life and work of a politician, diplomat, historian, academician Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov.
State Duma deputy Yevgeny Primakov, member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Primakov represents the interests of residents of the Saratov region, as well as the capital of Pridnestrovie at the State Duma.
The Council of Veterans of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation initiated the publication of a book about Yevgeny Maksimovich regarding his diplomatic activities. Several copies today were donated to the Pridnestrovian State University.
Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov strove to find new fair solutions, representatives of the Russian delegation said.
Within the framework of the meeting, everyone could ask the Russian guests questions of interest. In particular, the topics were raised by the Pridnestrovians receiving Russian citizenship, as well as the recognition of our republic.
