Private money or one of the budget deficit repayment sources?

02.03.2016

Looking for the sources of replenishment of the revenue side of the budget, parliamentarians suggested including 104.7 million rubles, which, according to information of the Deputies reportedly arrived at the Presidential Administration of the account, but passed the state treasury. The amendment was introduced by Alexander Martynov, who insists on a constitutional duty to reflect this amount in the draft budget and its inclusion into the stabilization fund established for the payment of salaries and Pridnestrovians’ pensions. According to the parliamentarian, this amount is formed as a result of three times the flow of funds to the designated account in 2013. The Minister of Finance, without calling into question the accuracy of the information, questioned the presence of these funds in the account at the moment. The author of the amendment insists that the money should be "debit" in any case.

Official representative of the President Vladimir Bodnar made a report on this issue with more information.

Vladimir Bodnar raised the question, why the author of the amendment has known the information in the accounts. President's representative suggested that the source of information is the "Agroprombank".

Some questions and statements were left without government comments. Parliamentarians voted for amendment that would reduce the budget deficit by another hundred million, and possibly close the legal gap.
