The Supreme Council continues to work on the draft budget for 2021. Earlier the country's main financial document was adopted on December 11 in the first reading. The parliamentary leadership had to disrupt the usual schedule of meetings, as it is necessary to complete the work on the budget in very tight time frame. The main thing that can be noted today is that the 2021 budget was adopted balanced. The state will fulfill all obligations under socially protected articles in full and on time. There are funds for these purposes in the budget. Now the Supreme Council is preparing the document for the second reading.
Repairs of social facilities will continue in 2021; the budget has funds to support the business community and the agricultural sector. There is a reserve for increasing pensions and salaries of public sector employees. More money will be directed to payments on Soviet deposits, the needs of boarding schools and orphanages. Significant funds will be allocated for medicine.
The Supreme Council plans to adopt the draft budget for 2021 by the end of the year. This must be done so that all development and support programs start working as early as January 1.
