Deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic continue to work on the main financial document of the country. The parliamentarians in the course of today's plenary session returned to the first reading mode. The Parliament at the suggestion of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and with the support of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic revised the general parameters of the budget2023. The main changes affected the expenditure items of the budget. The deputies adopted in the second reading today the law on the budget for the next year that provides among other things an increase in salaries for doctors, teachers, cultural and sports workers.
The state maintains all its social programs at the same time, including in the healthcare sector. The main directions of development next year will remain traditional for the republic – these are health care, education and the social sphere. More than 817 million rubles will be allocated from the republican budget for medicine, 360 million for education, and about 605 million rubles for social policy next year.
State targeted programs will continue to operate in 2023, including in the healthcare system. Pridnestrovie will continue to pay for the treatment of its citizens abroad, provided that they cannot receive such treatment at home. Consultations of narrow specialists in private medical institutions for children will also be paid – about 2.5 million rubles are planned for these purposes.
The development programs also remained in the 2023 budget, the Speaker of the parliament noted. Approximately 610 million rubles are planned for target budget funds in the next year's budget totally.
Preferential loans for enterprises that want to develop their own production continue to issue in Pridnestrovie. As far as development programs are concerned, it will directly depend on how the Pridnestrovian economy develops and how the foreign policy situation develops around our country. The priority of the state in the first place is the fulfillment of its social obligations, recalled Viktor Guzun.
Another important point is that utility tariffs for Pridnestrovians will remain unchanged in 2023. The draft budget for the next year includes funds to compensate for the difference between the current tariffs for the population and economically justified ones.
Work on the budget-2023 continues. The law on the republican budget for the next year will be adopted in a week in the third reading.
