The Brussels Meetings

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev held a number of meetings with Russian officials in European structures as part of the participation in the 11th European Russian Forum.

The first one was a dialogue with the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov. It was held within the framework of the visit of the Pridnestrovian delegation to Brussels. The sides paid special attention to the current situation in the Moldo-Pridnestrovian settlement after the recent meeting in the 5 + 2 negotiation format, as well as the prospects for the development of cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie in various spheres.

Members of the Pridnestrovian delegation met with the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to NATO Alexander Grushko. The interlocutors exchanged views on the problems of the Moldo-Pridnestrovian settlement in the context of changes in the international situation, as well as topical issues of cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie.

The Pridnestrovian side also informed about the events held during the visit to Brussels, including the participation of the delegation of Pridnestrovie in the XI European Forum.
