According to established tradition, guests come to the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese - archpastors from the Moldavian Metropolis and other dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church in mid-September. Today, the Divine Liturgy, led by the Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir, was held in the Holy Cross Church of Tiraspol. The construction is completed, but landscaping work is ongoing. The altar part is decorated in the upper church, in the lower - festive iconostasis are installed.
The service was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, representative of the Russian Embassy Ilya Uvarov, parishioners of the church.
The archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa noted today a significant event - the day of Episcopal Chirotony. Congratulating Vladyka Sawa, the President expressed his gratitude to the hero of the occasion for the faith and service of the Russian Orthodox Church in general and the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese in particular.
