The deputy corps in the first reading supported the government law-in-draft, designed to reduce the list of licensed types of activities. The law-in-draft deals with six types of activities. Those who wish to engage in these activities will not bear the costs associated with obtaining a license. The proposed measures will give impetus to the development of certain types of entrepreneurial activity.
However, according to parliamentarians, not all activities can be exempted from the need to obtain a license. Deputy Ilya Vasilyev opposed the inclusion in this list of such services as the production of medical equipment and medical products. This will be the subject of discussion in the second reading.
The procedure for the third reading was a package consisting of five legislative initiatives. Deputies Victor Guzun, Vadim Doni, Vadim Kravchuk are the developers. Legislators offered to provide an opportunity for legal entities who faced difficulties, but do not want to permanently liquidate the enterprise, temporarily suspend activities. The deputies introduced an intermediate stage between the liquidation and the period when the legal entity does not work, but continues to maintain tax documentation. The period of temporary suspension of work is not more than three years.
