Gratitude for work, kindness and wisdom

Dear pensioners, war and labor veterans!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally, I congratulate you on the International Day of Older Persons!

October 1, we celebrate a warm and hearty holiday, we honor the elderly. This date is not a reminder to older people about their age, but a great opportunity to say thanks to you - our fathers and mothers, veterans of war, labor, pensioners, elderly residents of the Republic - for your contribution to the development of our Pridnestrovie, for many years of conscientious work, for experience, kindness and wisdom.

The older generation is generation of people of unparalleled heroism, patriotism and perseverance. It was you who created and preserved everything that we are proud of today. You experienced all the hardships of the war years on yourself, conscientiously worked in peacetime, built factories, and improved our republic.

The tremendous will, inexhaustible energy inherent in you, dear veterans, are an example for young people. Many of you, despite your age, continue to work in production, engage in social activities, take an active part in educating the younger generation.

This day please accept the words of sincere gratitude for your work, patience and endurance! I want to wish you an unquenchable interest in life, health, peace of mind, warmth and love of loved ones! I wish you happiness and prosperity!
