T-34 tank - symbol of victory opened the military parade at the square named after Alexander Suvorov. The servicemen of the Pridnestrovian Armed Forces, units of the Operational Group of the Russian Forces in the Pridnestrovian Republic, soldiers of the Border Department of the Ministry of State Security, parade calculations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and cadets of the Military Institute of Defense Ministry passed. Students of the Republican cadet corps and the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School participated in the Parade. Soldiers of the Guard of Honor Company carried the State flags of Pridnestrovie and Russia and the Victory Banner. The memory of the fallen Soviet heroes was honored with a minute of silence.
Addressing the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the President called them a generation of winners who were able to withstand the trials that fell to their lot. Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to them for the courage and heroism shown during the Second World War, for the opportunity to live and work freely under the peaceful sky for the good of the Fatherland today.
Residents and guests of the capital were able to see demonstrations by servicemen of the Guard of Honor and pupils of the Suvorov School. At the end of the Military Parade, the song “Victory” was played, performed by Pridnestrovian and Russian military personnel to the sound of military orchestras.
The event continued with the march of the Immortal Regiment.
