Gratitude to the Veterans

There is a few days until the 9th of May. Veterans and home front workers were congratulated in the "Komsomolsky" constituency number 32 of the capital on behalf of the deputy Andrey Mezhinsky today. Assistant to the deputy of the Supreme Council Valery Vaskin and deputies of the Tiraspol City Council Viktor Krondev and Andrey Volkovich came with gifts and flowers. They thanked the veterans for the feat and the Victory.

Vladimir Ivanovich Tabensky is 95. The veteran already sees badly, his legs hurt, but he still maintains good spirits.

Vladimir Tabensky voluntarily joined a partisan detachment at the age of 16. He was supposed to collect and transmit information about the movements of the enemy. He was drafted into the Red Army at the age of 18. He served in the army for many years, worked as a leading design engineer at the plant named after Kirov after the war.

The combat path of the veteran is described on the "Memory of the People" website. Vladimir Tabensky was awarded the medals "For Courage", "For Military Merit", "For Victory over Germany" and the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree for heroic and labor deeds.

Four veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in the district Number 32 "Komsomolsky" in Tiraspol now – this is in the Oktyabrsky microdistrict. Rashit Faritovich Rizvanov, Ilya Ivanovich Pavlenko, Vladimir Ivanovich Tabensky and Lidia Alekseevna Grosberg. They are a living memory, eyewitnesses and heroes of the Great Victory. They are not forgotten all year round in the constituency.
