The silent witnesses of eras: how cultural heritage sites are preserved in Pridnestrovie

Repair and restoration work at 9 sites in towns and districts of the republic was carried out last year as part of the “Preservation of immovable cultural heritage sites of the PMR that require urgent repairs” state target program.

There are monuments to Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the villages of Tsybulevka, Koikovo, Dubovo and Krasny Vinogradar in the Dubossary district, a Memorial to the victims of fascism in the city of Dubossary, a Memorial of revolutionary, military and labor Glory of railway workers and the building of a former doctor's dacha Flemmer in the city of Bendery, House-Museum of Hero of the Soviet Union of Zharchinsky in the village of Rashkov, Kamenka district Among them. More than 1.7 million rubles totally were allocated for repair work at these facilities from the 2023 republican budget within the framework of the state program.

The report on the implementation of the “Preservation of immovable cultural heritage sites of the PMR that require urgent repairs for 2019-2024” state program was approved last year by deputies in the course of the plenary meeting, unanimously supporting the corresponding resolution.
