The Immortal Regiment - is a Great Unity of Heroes and their Descendants

The deputy of the State Duma, the co-chairman of the movement "The Immortal Regiment of Russia" Nikolay Zemtsov, the speaker of Pridnestrovian Parliament Alexander Shcherba, the chairman of the parliamentary committee on Public Associations, Sport, Information and Youth Policy Igor Buga, deputies took part in the round table "Patriotism: the connection of times and Generations" Supreme Council, activists and public figures of Pridnestrovie.

Before the beginning of the forum, the participants viewed the exposition devoted to the participation of Tiraspol in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the formation of our republic.

Welcoming the participants of the forum, the Speaker of Pridnestrovian Parliament Alexander Scherba thanked Nikolai Zemtsov for finding an opportunity to visit Pridnestrovie. The speaker noted that the nationwide movement "The Immortal Regiment", which was born in Russia, was soon supported in Pridnestrovie, because we are part of the Russian world. Pridnestrovians several years in all cities of the republic proudly carried portraits of their relatives who defended their homeland during the Great Patriotic War.

Co-chairman of the movement "The Immortal Regiment of Russia" Nikolai Zemtsov noted, recently in many countries they are trying to rewrite history, stealing victory from the Soviet people. To prevent this, "The Immortal Regiment" movement is called for.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Associations, Sport, Information and Youth Policy Igor Buga noted that "The Immortal Regiment" is beyond May 9 in Pridnestrovie.

The outcome of the round table was the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the All-Russian civil-patriotic movement "The Immortal Regiment of Russia" and Pridnestrovian public organizations. In addition, the regional branch of the patriotic organization will work in Tiraspol.
