Artists, restorers and sculptors from Bendery were awarded diplomas

An exhibition of diploma works by graduates of the Victor Postoikin Higher Art College in Bendery was opened in the Pridnestrovian State Art Museum. It is within the walls of the museum that future artists receive diplomas every year and most importantly, the recognition of the audience. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Galina Antyufeyeva came to congratulate the novice artists, restorers and sculptors.

The educational institution in Bendery prepares artists of intermediate and higher level of professional training. This year there are only 26 graduates. 6 of these people received diplomas of higher education, 20 – of secondary education.

The Vice Speaker of the Parliament wished the young people to dare, create, be creative and not be afraid to discover something new. Galina Antyufeyeva expressed hope that young artists will organize their personal exhibitions at the Pridnestrovian State Art Museum in the future.

About 40 works by emerging artists were presented in various areas at today's exhibition: painting, sculpture, restoration and decorative and applied arts. The latter includes batik painting, wool felting and tapestry. The young people master these areas in college. The exhibition is traditional and will last until the end of summer.
