Schoolchildren of Bendery celebrated the Day of Knowledge

The Day of Knowledge was celebrated in Bendery secondary school number 16. The solemn assembly brought together only first graders and eleventh graders. The first school bell rang this year for them. This year, everything is new: everyone observed a social distance and were wearing masks. Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council for electoral district # 1 "Solnechny" Alexander Korshunov and deputies of the city council Oleg Tarasov and Mikhail Vladutsa came to congratulate the children.

This year 90 first-graders entered the school number 16 in Bendery. All of them were looking forward to this day, and today they have become full residents of the school.

Eleventh graders were looking forward to September 1, because this is their last academic year.

There were sounded school songs, first graders and graduates received congratulations from the guests of honor. The first-graders recited poems, thereby sharing their impressions of the first day of school. They held balloons of red and green colors in their hands, symbolizing the flag of our republic.

Deputies of the Supreme Council and the City Council presented school supplies and sets of workbooks to the first graders. The first school lesson was held for the first graders - Peace Lesson after the celebratory assembly. Teachers told the children about our republic, introduced them to our cities and sights in the lesson.
