The fortress in Bendery welcomes guests again

The festival “Easter Chime” united Pridnestrovians on the second day of Easter. The event was organized on the initiative of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The Park of Alexander Nevsky received guests. The event began with a ceremony of laying flowers to the bust of Alexander Nevsky. Then the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa congratulated Pridnestrovians on this bright holiday. According to him, the main purpose of the festival was preservation of Orthodox culture and unification around Christian values.

Pridnestrovians came to the holiday in the Bendery fortress with their whole families, everyone could find an interesting occupation. They prepared contests, fun, games on the playground for children, for adults - exhibitions, master classes. Successful family photos could be done in numerous photo zones. The festival was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov together with his wife and children. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov was also a guest of the holiday.

A three-meter Easter egg was set up in the center of the park - the creation of students from Bendery. At the festival there was presented an exhibition and sale of products of folk craftsmen from Bendery. An important component of the holiday was charity. Everyone could take part in the “White Flower” promotion, thereby helping newborn babies in need of treatment and special care.

The festival participants were also able to get acquainted with the ringer art. The opportunity to ring the bells was given to the President Vadim Krasnoselsky and his wife.

An interesting concert program was prepared by Pridnestrovian State Choir and Symphony Orchestra. Creative performances were presented by vocal groups from Bendery. The holiday will last until late evening.
