Archival sector will develop

The state program for the development of the archival industry in Pridnestrovie will appear for the first time. The need for its adoption is due to the process of informatization of society. It is assumed that the total funding of the state program will amount to 8 million 226 thousand rubles. They plan with these funds to increase the area under state archives, equip them with modern equipment and create an information retrieval system for archival fund documents.

Today the law-in-draft approving the program for the development of the archival industry was adopted in the first reading in the course of the plenary meeting. The timing of the program will be postponed from 2020–2022 to 2021–2023. This is due to the fact that funds for the execution of the state program for the archival industry are not included in the republican budget for this year. The work on the law-in-draft will continue in the second reading.
