Archives - the spirit of the past

The deputies of the Supreme Council Grigory Dyachenko, Ruslan Gareev, Vadim Kravchuk could feel the spirit of the past epochs, to touch the history of the Motherland in the literal sense of the word. They responded to the invitation of Zinaida Todorashko, the head of the public service for managing records management and archives, to visit the State Central Administration of the PMR and take part in the event called "Night in the Archive". The aim is to familiarize parliamentarians with the documentary heritage of our republic.

The central state archive, whose building was built in the 60's in full accordance with the requirements of Soviet GOSTs, consists of three storage facilities. Although most of the documents kept in the State Archives belong to the post-war period, there are real rarities. For example, metric books. The first record was made in 1823.
